FUCK! I went to go clean my DivaCup, put it down and now I can't find it!!!

In other news, going to Haven for the last time.

So, I meant to post and meant to post, and now I finally have a moment...I hope.

Wed (of LAST week): Took a half-day off from work. Came home and woke up artemis42, who had spent the night. We talked about all manner of things for two hours or so. Then ran to the store for a box of Lucky Charms (b/c i wanted them RIGHT THEN and as an adult with a car and a debit card I can have Lucky Charms whenever I want. so there!). Of course I forgot that the store was going to be crazy busy w/people, but I had msfrizz's good parking karma with me. Came home, ate said Lucky Charms, cleaned up the house, etc.

Thursday (Thanksgiving day): Woke up with lordaerith *wink*, and then went downstairs to see the Macy's Day Parade while he went back to bed. Openned the shades and immediatly ran back into the bedroom crying "Ningit" ("It's snowing" in Latin). Watched the Parade on NBC HD. Although I did seet the bit from Wicked on CBS. After the parade was over we started the cooking. This is what was made:

• Turkey (5½ lb breast only)
  
• Mashed Potatoes
  
• Vegitarian Stuffing
  
• Corn bread (my first time ever making it...a little dry, but pretty good)
  
• Butternut Squash (the squash came from a co-worker's garden)
  
• cranberry sauce
  
• creamed onions (I didn't eat these as the main things seemed to be cream, cheese, more cream, and more cheese)
  
• gravey (one with turkey drippings and one without)

Dinner was ready about 3:30 or so. After the three of us (yes...all that food for only three people), had stuffed ourselves silly, we fell onto the couch and watched Clueless (which artemis had never seen before).

After that we went over to omnia_mutantur and wandelrust's for dessert. There we had omnia's fabulous pies (apple, raspberry, and chocolate cheesecake) and some of aerith's famous ice creams (vanilla w/chocolate covered pisachios and chocolate w/chocolate covered almonds). We played DDR and Chrononauts.

Friday: I had to work. It was weird. It was like monday & friday. no one knew the day. Then at night aerith and I went to Shelbour Falls for their candle light walk around town. Went to Mother's for soup where we ran into the Warfield House Inn people (we had NO idea they'd be there...honest...). Such good soup. And it was warm. Then we headed up to visit artemis at her work in VT. hehehe. I went home with the lady. There her roommate tried to use a straight iron to straighten my hair...well...it was almost straight...still a little wavy. It looked so weird. We didn't take any pictures though.

Saturday we met up with aerith, omnia, and wandel for RENT! Ah RENT! I had flashbacks to being in London in the spring of 98 sitting front row center for the london previews and having Jesse singing "I'll Cover You (Reprise)" right in front of me. I remember he was crying. He must have performed RENT! hundreds of times by then, but he still cried. It was a very good movie adaptation. I really liked what they did with it and i understand why they made the choices they did.
Later we went to strumpetone and greenie's place (since they live SO far away) for a umm...toy party *wink* mmm...comfy chair...*giggle*
Then aerith went to visit artemis and I watched Benny and Joon b/c i had to make sure that Encore onDemand was working. Then i headed back over to strumpet's for another party. Talked with a really cute theater chick for a while...we were trying to come up with "Dirty Clue." I was probably the only person who got to kill her drink just before leaving. *Grin*

Sunday was putter around the house, do clean up and stuff for me day.

Monday was relax and do more stuff for me day. Aeirth made us open faced turkey smamaches.

Tuesday: came home from work and took a nap. Then got up, ate, and then went out to Haven's Pirate Ball. Dressed all pirate-y. Had a pretty good time. Got to see lots of people. Left before addam played the pirate music we gave him.

Wed: was v. tired at work, but made it through. was v. tired at home. vegged on couch watching VH1 and crochetting.

Today: Work was good. Too much stuff happening next tuesday, but will get everyhting done for it (i hope). Tonight I went to a poetry reading at Smith by Brenda Osbey, the Poet Laureate of Louisiana. She was very good. Her poems have these amazing narratives to them. Tomorrow she's giving a talk on black culture in New Orleans. Lord, I miss my city. hmm...so much to say.

Tuesday: Had a really really great time at Haven! Had a whole bunch of good conversations with people which is always a good thing. Got to dance near kiten and autumnlaughing both of whom are amazing dancers and make me feel like an akward amature on the dance floor. But Kiten said I was inspiring *blush* The only sucky things were 1) I missed Nayone, a lot! and 2) Aerith got tired and so we left before the last song *pout* oh well.

Yesterday it snowed and snowed and snowed, but Aerith and I had to go out anyway. We went over to UMass and then to Barnes&Noble where I spent too much money on a book for his mother, an issue of Games Magazine, another puzzle book, a Forbidden Broadway CD, and the I am Sam Soundtrack. Got a free cd opener and all was 10% off. yay coupons.
Then went to Space-Crime. Yay Space-Crime. Being at B&N made me feel like such a traider, but I didn't buy any Sci-fi/fantasy/mystery stuff there, so it was ok.

Then picked up Swan and Kiten and got some groceries.

I ran my game last night. My first time DMing. EEP! It went really well, i think. mostly. 3G was giving me a really hard time. Not very nice of him! It's a very interesting party. But I did as best as i could. Right before the "major fight" my head got really strange and I just couldn't focus anymore. So we called it a night. 3G drove Swan and Kiten home and Aerith and I watched some of Disney's Robin Hood. I love that movie! But then Aerith got really tired so we went to bed *wink*

Today we were going to get up early, but that didn't happen.

So, now i am at the Music and Theatre Library at Smith. I was going to listen to both La Traviatta and Aida today, but the CD of La Traviatta was missing the libretto, so they had to find me another libretto so i could follow along with the opera. By the time i finished listening to it (almost crying, but i didn't), i got out Aida and read the plot, but the opera is 2.5 hours long and the library closes at 5pm, and i didn't want to start listening to it to have to stop in the middle. So, i did some reading about Verdi and then i caught up on my LJ reading.

oh yes, happy spring, even if the weather around here doesn't think so!

Last night was Haven at Diva's. How totally wonderful! I had a great time. The place looked so nice. The bathrooms were clean and I really liked what they did with the bar area and the back room and stuff.

The music was good too. I really really enjoyed either listening to it, or dancing to it. It was so nice to hear again. I mean, I have "goth" stuff on my comp, but not everything that they have. Got to dance with Wolfboy for Mummers Dance. Hurray. I love dancing with him. And I got to dance with Aerith for Voices Carry. OMG, when I heard that song at the end of the night, i almost cried. it was so wonderful. Aerith is sexy...but that's another story. Also danced with Little Jane. Didn't get to dance with skennedy. oh well. And danced w/Buffie for Magic Dance. Yay for David Bowie!!!!!!

My toe didn't hurt me at all, which I was worried about, wearing heals and all. well, it did twindge once for a moment, but that was all. My right knee did hurt me by the end of the night, but i haven't been dancing in AGES, so is understandable.

It was good seeing people again. There were so many people that I hadn't really realized that I was missing. There were a few people who weren't there, but I will be dragging them soon. (yes, Nayone you are one of them).

It was home. In every way. I knew where to dance, where certain people were going to be, how to walk around corners. It felt right. And the place LOOKED great. I was so happy to be there. I think that Wolfboy had it right when he said, "We were in a barn (Pearl St), then a closet (Grotto), and now we're home." So true. So true.

Yes, Cimmy, I got many compliments on the shirt. Thank you again. it was wonderful.

And the best part is...
IT WILL BE BACK NEXT WEEK.

wow, I haven't written in FOREVER!!! Let me see, what happened to me?

First, monday the 19th Flip came into class 40 min late with a bleading cut on her forehead and proceeded to fall down. We called the Public Safety and stuff and the ambulence guys came to get her. I went with her to hospital. We were there from about 2pm to 6pm. I was there when she woke up. She couldn't remember any of what happend to her. it was scary. but they did a CT scan and an EKG or something like that and said she was fine. So, luckily another friend showed up with food and a car and drove us home. The whole experiance just weired me out so, after a few hours of getting no work done, I packed up my stuff for Thanksgiving and headed over to Aerith's.
Also, that night Aerith's sister gave birth to Theresa Joan two weeks early at about 11pm. I guess it was a day for hospitals.

Tues- Haven died. Aerith and I beat Gauntlet Dark Legacy and started to cheeze the game. Learned how to post while troting.

wed - Swan and Kiten showed up and we played more Gauntlet Dark Legacy.

thurs - drove to eastern mass. Got to see little TJ. Her mom came home from the hospital that day. Had chinese food for dinner, but it didn't matter because we got to see the baby :) Aerith and I got to stay in a hotel room ;)

fri more babyness!! Started to freak out about all the work i had to do.

sat went to the mall. The body shop was out of the Define and No Frizz cream :( Ended up getting a dishes and silverware set for $45 at a kitchen store that was going out of busness. Drove home. Saw the Twelfth Night movie w/Helena Bothem Carter and Ben Kingsly. Was very good.

sun did LOTS of Greek

monday the 26th - had a mock final in horseback riding. got Percy. ick he is such a pain! but i groomed and saddled and bridled him and didn't get kicked or bitten or anything. ha.
Then I pulled an almost all-nighter (3.5 hours of sleep) to write a paper. the only good thing was that i got to call dad at 1 in the morning (8am his time)! He got remarried.

tuesday - turned in the paper late, but at least on the day it was due! Whimsy was a pain during riding, but not a Percy-like pain, so that is good. Was up till 1am doing greek, but did over 30 lines in less than an hour at one point. YAY ME!!!

Things I must do before the school semseter is over:
1. 3 exams - 2 in class - 1 a pratical for horseback riding - 1 self-schedualed at Amherst.
2. 3 papers - 1 2-3page obersvation report, 1 5 page write up on Peter Brook, 1 10 page for Comedy and Romance
3. 2 reports - 1 due friday for Greek. 1 article one
4. Greek translation lines (finishing Hecuba)
5. Finishing Horseback riding journal (due mon)
6. Reading Winter's Tale
7. Rehearsing scene with Flip.
I think that's everything.

i think i can do it all (I hope)

On monday witch-child gave me an owl pendant that she found at a tag sale and it made her think of me. It really means a lot to me. Not only because it was a present from her but also because I've been feeling like i've been loosing my connection with Athena lately (although I've picked up crochetting again to try and regain the connection). i think that the owl is a sign that she still cares and is watching over me. :)

I've found the coolest net radio station. www.perkigoth.com/music. 4 different streams of 80s, goth, darkwave, industrial stuff. i tend to listen to the first three b/c the last one is too industrial for me. But this way i'll get to learn more about the music/bands that i really like.

the call tracking system is ok. I'm starting to see the good things about it, although sometimes it's just a hassel.

amythyst hasn't been doing too well lately. I'm worried about her. I wish she would talk to me, at least so i could hug her. but she is going home tommorow. i hope she finds what she needs there.

talking about going home, i'll be going home on tuesday. i'm excited. i miss my mommy. she is the best mother in the world!!!!!

i have a huge bruse on my leg from Haven. :( It's Bjorn's fault. he picked me up and let me down too close to the edge of the box where the cage used to be. I found out that Mike has sold prYsm, so that may be the last time I ever walk out of that club's doors after Haven *pout* that's not cool. It's MY CLUB!!! It's where I feel at home. it's my haven in many sences of the word. it was also probably the last time i'll see skennedy for a while b/c she is going to Ireland. Damn it i'm going to miss that girl!!!!!! But I really did have fun at haven. the music was pretty good and i got to talk to a lot of people and have a lot of good conversations.

i almost forgot to mention that i went to the Hampshire County jail yesterday to see the performance that Aerith was working on. It was really good. it was two stories, one about someone who had been in 59 homes and the other about a household of brothers and their family and how they were struggeling to make it in the world. it was such a powerful play. And the movement piece at the end was amazing. I feel blessed just to be able to see this. It's sad that these kids have to give up some of their life because of things they did. they all seemed pretty cool. i am still in awe of what i saw.

went to haven last night. had a lot of fun!!

i wore my new mini-skirt and a sparkely shirt and a new belt and my strappy shoes. I felt sexy. and i know my legs looked good.

the music was ok, it got a lot better after midnight, but by then i was so tired that i only danced to two or three songs before my feet decided to quit.

had a lot of really fun conversations with people. that's what made the night. Talked with Wolf-boy about kitties and how they act like getto-boys. :) Got to talk with Avi again! :) Just a lot of fun and good stuff.

we let Spectre in again last night. he was actually pretty good until 8am when he decided it was time for us to wake up. silly cat!

I had some sort of dream that i really wanted to remember, but i can't. grrr. oh well.
