Wow, it's been a couple of crazy busy days for us.

On Thursday we went to Shinma's birthday party at Elysium. There were lots of cool people there, and I really started to feel like "part of the group." Had a good time talking with people and being at the club. Unfortunately they played mostly electronic/techno stuff, even though Allycat and I went up to the DJ booth and requested "swirly gothy stuff."

On Friday there was an "Art Party" at Allycat's place. We got there a little late (due to me taking a 3 hour nap upon getting home), but still got to hang out with people. Played some Bust-A-Movie and Guitar Hero. Talked about also sorts of various things. Felt really good. Like we were finally part of a group. And it's a group that likes us, understands our references, and basically talks the same language as we do.

Yesterday lordaerith stayed home, but I went to AC&B J's place for bbq and swimming with peoples. Just hanging out with people was lots of fun. The bbq was good. I traded some of my two zucchinis for parts of other people's steaks, which worked out really well. Once they convinced me to get in the water, we had a lot of silly fun. After swimming there was pie (mmm...pie), and hanging out at the apartment and then ACJ decided to put on Clueless. The two of us proceeded to quote the whole thing...hehehe.

There was talk of going to a movie or hanging out at drackyyn's place...but I may just stay home.

Tomorrow is lordaerith and my two year. If the weather's good, we're hoping to go to Schlitterbahn to celebrate.

Friday
Saw Cats&Dogs. An ok movie. got to see the harry potter trailer on the big screen. made it worth it.


Saturday
Went swimming w/Aerith and Kiten. Had a blast with noodles :) Tried jumping through them and all kinds of fun tricks. Got more tan. huray!

Then the rev and slinky boy showed up for aerith's game. but since pants wasn't there, we ended up hanging out and bbqing. deravyn and lisa showed up with the gothic prom pics. Deravyn takes good pics. Aerith actually liked the way he looked (which was really dark and sexy!!!!!) in the pics.

after that the boys convinced me to run a modual that i have. aaahhhhh. DMing for my first time. well, i TRIED. and the boys were on their best behavior (well, as best as they can be when they play characters), but I hadn't read the thing, so i really didn't know what was coming, and i quit b4 any combat happened b/c i was tired and i couldn't really remember how it all worked. but next time i'll be more prepared b/c i'll read up on stuff first.

The best thing was that redfishie showed up! hurray! I hadn't seen her in forever!!!


sunday
had many strange dreams. but i can't really remember any of them. one of them had two brothers. i really wanted to remember all of them. it was one of those morning where i kept waking up in the middle of a dream that would fade quickly and then going back to sleep and having another dream.

we did laundrey and laundrey and more laundrey. and cleaned the kitchen and our bathroom sink. and more laundrey. i don't think i have ANY dirty clothing except for the hand washing. it's a nice feeling.

ordered the new Blackmore's Night cd. It comes out tommorow. I'm really excited. i love that band so much!!!

saw From Russia with Love. a young Connery. mmmm. very good movie. i think they cleaned up the picture when they put it on dvd. only problem was that something was weird with the subtittles. at first there were none and then when we tried to fix that the movie kept giving us subtittles in spanish. it was strange.

had a talk with my mother about plans for the fall. it is getting so complicated. i almost wish that i never asked my dad about the possibility of getting his car while he is going to be in europe. aerith is so good at comming up with good arguments for me. I wish he would just handle the whole thing, but i have to. i'm the one who wants the car. i have to call people about insurence. i've been delaying. and then yesterday aerith tells me a lot of places are 24 hours. i could have killed him. i also need to call about Spectre. he needs to be neutered SOON!!!

I just got back from the bathroom and there was a little flower on my keyboard and a note saying "Jason was here :) " It's amazing how little things like that can just put the biggest smile on someone's face. I wonder if he's going to show up again. He is a lot of fun. and he has the two teath next to his upper front teeth missing, just like my sister does (but she has a retainer w/the teeth on them. she can pop it out and make really funny faces with it - like the rancor from SW:ROTJ)

talking about the bathroom...the one at work has this window that is partway infront of the stall part and it looks out onto Elm Street. Now, normally, i'm just like whatever and close the shade when i go to the bathroom. but recently the shade (which is on one of those annoying pullstrings) has chosen NOT to work. so there i am going to the bathroom and when i stand up i'm worried that someone will see me. probably not, but there is construction across the way and i've read enough stuff about secret web-cams to be nervous.

the weekend was fun.

Friday: wyldeblade and his friend drove up from NY. Aerith knew they were coming but forgot to tell ThreeGee and I. Oh well. And Aerith and I got the Nerf Guns that Adan was talking about in his journal. fun fun fun.
Then we went to a party for Dave. there were a lot of people there, including this girl Lisa who i used to hang out with a lot and then disapeared for a few years. It was sooooo cool to see her again!!!

Saturday: Went to the first Miller's Reach event of the season. It was supposed to be this big two day thing, but it started raining really badly and there were flood warnings and stuff so we left. But before then I helped bring magic back. that made me happy because i usually feel that my character isn't that important, but he(she) was at this event :) :) :) :)
Since it got cancled, a bunch of us went back to our place and we hung out and watched Tank Girl on DVD. I LOVE THAT MOVIE SOOO MUCH. Aerith and ThreeGee were about to kill me b/c i kept quoting along with it. tee-hee-hee.

Sunday: Aerith and I did some MAJOR cleaning of our room. hurray, there is floor space. maybe he won't be so cranky anymore.
I got to talk to my mommy for a while which was cool. she's started reading the Harry Potter books. Hurray. My mom's not a huge reader. I hope she really likes them.
Then Kiten called and we ended up picking her up and going swimming. we had WAY too much fun, teasing with the lifeguard, fliping, doing handstands. Kiten and Aerith could stand on the little ball, but i had a lot of trouble doing it. Maybe i just weigh too little.
Then A LOT of people came over and we made way too much food and hung out. I played Blackmore's Night for people and we watched some Cowboy Bebop :)
The funniest thing was when i walked into the living room and there were 4 people all reading magazines. I felt like it was a doctor's office or something.

So, all in all it was a good weekend and so far it's been a pretty good day.
