Throwing things at other things

lordaerith and I went formal dress bowling with friends on Friday. We hadn't gotten dressed up in suits and dresses and gone bowling since college. We went to The Highball, which is seriously swanky. With all of us all dressed up, we fit in with the decor way better than anyone else there. In fact, one of the servers said that we were his favorite table ever because we looked like we fit in with the place (it was either that or we were all 1920s mobsters or extras on the set of Mad Men). The bowling itself was hell of a lot of fun. It took me a little while to remember which hand I bowl better with (it's my right). Out of my group, I totally lost, but it was fabulously fun, so I didn't care.
Saturday involved errands and a lot of WoW. :)
On Sunday Aerith and I went to the Yummy Living Foods tasting at Marigold - Gateway to India. Yummy Living Foods is all natural, gluten-free, vegan desserts. The food is OMG yummy. The chocolate decadence was so good as were the brownies and well, everything I tried. It's so dangerous for me to know about Marigold's. I think I wanted to buy just about everything I saw there.
Sunday evening Aerith and I played Boom Blox on the Wii. It involves making lots of throwing motions. Between that and the bowling on Friday, my arm is all sorts of sore today.

On Saturday Bubbles and Boom hosted an Art Party. The theme was elementalism.lordaerith and I worked together to make element-eatable cookies.

And finally, all of my classes are going really well. I'm really enjoying Databases and Math, but I'm having trouble doing my reading for Management tonight...

So, Aerith rented this game "Grand Theft Auto 3" and on one of the radio stations there are adds for petsovernight.com. Well...I had to check and there really is a petsovernight.com. However, all it is is a front page and then all of the links point to the site of the game designers, but it's still funny!! :)
*sigh* i miss Nayone! I wish she was here so she could come to Haven w/us!
on that note, I should go and shower and shave for Haven tonight.

grrr...I'm lucky i shaved under my arms first! Ran out of shaving cream when i went to do my legs. Well...I'll just wear a long skirt tonight and buy more shaving cream tommorow!

Spring Break

Guess what it did today? SNOW! Argh!
Gamed on Saturday. Was good. Am now a 6th level Cleric. Finally got over the 35xp i needed. yay!
Met Nayone's dad yesterday. That was strange, but i think it went well. I was a little worried when he showed up and 3Gs parents were around, but it all went ok. yay yay. Swan hurt his ankle and so Aerith drove him to the hospital and the Brewery gave us our lunch for free b/c of this. that was cool, but not cool that Swan hurt himself. Watched Sybil on tv. was really good. I have to read the book one of these days.
today has been kind of bleh. I've worked a bit on my paper which is good. I have a lot to say, but sometimes i just can't seem to express it right. blerg. Watched the boys play more of "Grand Theft Auto 3" Amusing, but kind of stupid. makes me bored.
bored bored bored bored bored. i wish there was something more interesting to do besides watch tv/movie/video games, try to work on paper/play on line, and eat lots of chocolate. i could read, but i don't really want to right now. bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored. blerg blerg.

boys toys and pictures
Jan. 20th, 2002 03:26 pmSo, Aerith's friends is up for the weekend which is cool. They spent a decent chunk of yesterday playing Devil May Cry. I like watching video games, but they were playing the same parts over and over again because they either wanted to power up or because they couldn't beat it. I fell asleep and missed a whole bunch of stuff. At least it looks pretty and i can be obnoxious by telling them what do to (not that i know how to play, though). :)
Only a few more missions until they beat the game. the girl is bad. no, that wasn't predictable.
also spent some time while they were playing playing with an online doll maker making pics for Cimmy. The site works best on a PC with Internet Explorer. I now need photoshop to shrink the pics down to acceptable size, but i can do that tuesday at work, if not before. here is the site:

3 nights, 3 parties
Jan. 2nd, 2002 09:48 pmSaturday Night, Sunday Night, and Monday Night each had a party. Each one was different and cool.
Saturday night was at ex-b/f 3's house. He shaved. He looked really really HOT! Damn i would love to jump his bones! The party itself was good. I got to run into a lot of people that i hadn't seen in ages. Then Aerith and I and a bunch of other people played this PS game called Top Shop. It was like Monopoly on CRACK! It was such a cool game, even though it took 3 hours to play. Got home that night at 3:30am.
Sunday wasqueencimmy's b-day party. had to wake up and clean the house. my room is clean(er) which is nice. but we kicked up a shite load of dust which sucks because i'm still having breathing issues in my room. grrr.
Right, so the party. the party was really nice. we only had 20ish people which was much smaller than the 60-70 that were in attendence last year. We watched the Safer Sex-umentary that Cim brought from SLC. It was sooo funny but really educational at the same time. I would love a copy of it. There were such lines as "Leave the Crisco in the kitchen" and "Then you'll have herpies and babies in your eye." Then I decorated Cim's R2D2 cake. I did a really good job if i may say so myself. We just hung out and talked with peoples and it was really good and nice. Went to bed around 4am.
Monday was Mr. Werewolf's annual New Year's Eve party. There were less people invited and almost everyone was stoned so it was a much more mellow party than in years past. we got to play a lot of pool which was cool. Aerith and I had a lovely New Year's kiss. and then i got to kiss my friends. I even kissed ex-b/f 3 on the lips quickly. We were going to get into the hottub naked like always, but then a bunch of somewhat slimy uninvited people showed up and there were already grown-ups in the hottub and we were tired and it was 2:30 am. So we went home. Got to bed around 3/3:30am.

Major update!
Nov. 28th, 2001 06:06 pmwow, I haven't written in FOREVER!!! Let me see, what happened to me?
First, monday the 19th Flip came into class 40 min late with a bleading cut on her forehead and proceeded to fall down. We called the Public Safety and stuff and the ambulence guys came to get her. I went with her to hospital. We were there from about 2pm to 6pm. I was there when she woke up. She couldn't remember any of what happend to her. it was scary. but they did a CT scan and an EKG or something like that and said she was fine. So, luckily another friend showed up with food and a car and drove us home. The whole experiance just weired me out so, after a few hours of getting no work done, I packed up my stuff for Thanksgiving and headed over to Aerith's.
Also, that night Aerith's sister gave birth to Theresa Joan two weeks early at about 11pm. I guess it was a day for hospitals.
Tues- Haven died. Aerith and I beat Gauntlet Dark Legacy and started to cheeze the game. Learned how to post while troting.
wed - Swan and Kiten showed up and we played more Gauntlet Dark Legacy.
thurs - drove to eastern mass. Got to see little TJ. Her mom came home from the hospital that day. Had chinese food for dinner, but it didn't matter because we got to see the baby :) Aerith and I got to stay in a hotel room ;)
fri more babyness!! Started to freak out about all the work i had to do.
sat went to the mall. The body shop was out of the Define and No Frizz cream :( Ended up getting a dishes and silverware set for $45 at a kitchen store that was going out of busness. Drove home. Saw the Twelfth Night movie w/Helena Bothem Carter and Ben Kingsly. Was very good.
sun did LOTS of Greek
monday the 26th - had a mock final in horseback riding. got Percy. ick he is such a pain! but i groomed and saddled and bridled him and didn't get kicked or bitten or anything. ha.
Then I pulled an almost all-nighter (3.5 hours of sleep) to write a paper. the only good thing was that i got to call dad at 1 in the morning (8am his time)! He got remarried.
tuesday - turned in the paper late, but at least on the day it was due! Whimsy was a pain during riding, but not a Percy-like pain, so that is good. Was up till 1am doing greek, but did over 30 lines in less than an hour at one point. YAY ME!!!
Things I must do before the school semseter is over:
1. 3 exams - 2 in class - 1 a pratical for horseback riding - 1 self-schedualed at Amherst.
2. 3 papers - 1 2-3page obersvation report, 1 5 page write up on Peter Brook, 1 10 page for Comedy and Romance
3. 2 reports - 1 due friday for Greek. 1 article one
4. Greek translation lines (finishing Hecuba)
5. Finishing Horseback riding journal (due mon)
6. Reading Winter's Tale
7. Rehearsing scene with Flip.
I think that's everything.
