3 nights, 3 parties
Jan. 2nd, 2002 09:48 pmSaturday Night, Sunday Night, and Monday Night each had a party. Each one was different and cool.
Saturday night was at ex-b/f 3's house. He shaved. He looked really really HOT! Damn i would love to jump his bones! The party itself was good. I got to run into a lot of people that i hadn't seen in ages. Then Aerith and I and a bunch of other people played this PS game called Top Shop. It was like Monopoly on CRACK! It was such a cool game, even though it took 3 hours to play. Got home that night at 3:30am.

queencimmy's b-day party. had to wake up and clean the house. my room is clean(er) which is nice. but we kicked up a shite load of dust which sucks because i'm still having breathing issues in my room. grrr.
Right, so the party. the party was really nice. we only had 20ish people which was much smaller than the 60-70 that were in attendence last year. We watched the Safer Sex-umentary that Cim brought from SLC. It was sooo funny but really educational at the same time. I would love a copy of it. There were such lines as "Leave the Crisco in the kitchen" and "Then you'll have herpies and babies in your eye." Then I decorated Cim's R2D2 cake. I did a really good job if i may say so myself. We just hung out and talked with peoples and it was really good and nice. Went to bed around 4am.
Monday was Mr. Werewolf's annual New Year's Eve party. There were less people invited and almost everyone was stoned so it was a much more mellow party than in years past. we got to play a lot of pool which was cool. Aerith and I had a lovely New Year's kiss. and then i got to kiss my friends. I even kissed ex-b/f 3 on the lips quickly. We were going to get into the hottub naked like always, but then a bunch of somewhat slimy uninvited people showed up and there were already grown-ups in the hottub and we were tired and it was 2:30 am. So we went home. Got to bed around 3/3:30am.

went to see grandpa yesterday. he is doing ok. he is almost 90 which is really amazing.
went to the mall afterwards and ran into ex-b/f 1 at Babbages where he works. so, that is 2 out of 4 so far. already ran into ex-b/f 2 at a party and will be going to ex-b/f 3's party tonight. ex-b/f 4 e-med me and wanted me to call him when i got into town. i did, so it is his turn to call me back. i might actually make 4 out of 4 this time. that would be really strange. good thing i am on good terms with all of them.
mom is doing well. we have been cleaning up for her since she can't, but it is so hard for her to sit around all day. she is making homemade chicken soup. mmmm. i could smell it cooking when i woke up today. that is if i could have smelled anything. i really do need to clean my room. it is sooo dusty.
i think mom wants to go out somewhere to get yarn and chambourge so we can make a chocolate rasberry tourte. mmm.
must finish writing e-mail to Nayone and then get off line

First: The Samhain ritual went amazingly well!!! There were a LOT of people there and I think they all got something out of it. I know that I did. When I was Justice, I WAS Justice. There wasn't enough cider at the feast. there never is :) The walk through NoHo was wonderful, but sad as I realized that this may just be the last Smith Samhain ritual that I am involved in. But walking back from the beep-boop crossroads in the front of the whole group singing my heart out was just wonderful. When we got back to Tyler, there was still a TON of energy left in the room. It made my whole body tingle!!!
Then my sister came to stay for the weekend!! She got to see my room and my cat and meet some of my friends at the game and stuff. It made me happy. Yes, cimmy, I am worried about you. I love you! We had a bunch of good heart to hearts.

This morning i have to go meet with the head of the Classics Department about the webpage and about classes for next semester. So far this is what I am thinking of taking: Latin - The Aenead, American Theatre and Drama, Interactive Web Design (2 credits), Horseback Riding 2, and History of Opera (pass/fail). Yup, that sounds good to me. a nice 15 credits for second semester senior year.
Then my sister came to stay for the weekend!! She got to see my room and my cat and meet some of my friends at the game and stuff. It made me happy. Yes, cimmy, I am worried about you. I love you! We had a bunch of good heart to hearts.

Well, I spent the night at Sarah Lawerence College w/Cimmy last night.. It was actually really nice. We bought a rug for her room in NYC and it looks great. Also, her roomate's parents bought them a self-inflating airmatress. It's really cool and pretty damn comfy. I am glad that i brought my sleeping bag also because it made a nice comforter.
First-years are first-years where ever they are. I think it's worse at SLC b/c they have first-year housing. I really like the way that Smith has all classes living together.
There were these two boys who were around last night who are in the first SLC all boys acapella group. They were singing some stuff. It was really good. Then they sang "Baby Got Back" it was too funny!!!
I think that Cim is going to do really well here. She totally fits in!!!!!
Oh, I forgot to mention that when I got back from the musuem the other day there were these two girls and their parents in the lobby of the apartment building. The older girl (who was probably around 6) was lifting her purple poncho up to her face and saying "I'm a vampire." I just happen to have my teeth with me, so i put them on. Then I turned the the girl and said "How do you know I'm not one too?" She was very impressed with my teeth. So were her parents. They said that they only had the wax ones for their daughters. Then they asked me if I was pagan. I said that I was, but that it was not related to me having the teeth. They mentioned that they wandered into a Pagan Pride Festival a week ago or so.

Sep. 6th, 2001 05:59 pmI haven't written in forever, so I'll try to write down all the important stuff.
Was in NYC from Tues 8/28 to Thurs 8/30 with Cim and Dad.
On that wed, Cim and I took the subway (by ourselves - this was a big deal for Cim b/c she had never ridden the NY subways with out at least one of our parental units before) to the Village. I showed her where our cousins' lived. She was impressed. Then we walked up and down 8th St. (which turns into St. Mark's Place). They have THE COOLEST stores on that street!!! We walked into awesome clothing, music, drug stores, you name it! I think that this made Cim even more exicited about going to SLC. And I got my senior hat at this place called Trash&Vaudville.
(that's not me in it, duh) Mine flops around more than that one does. I also picked up a new surround. Cim found a really cool vinnal skirt for $20! I LOVE THE VILLAGE!!!
We took the subway back to the hotel and then dad got back with tickets to the ROCKY HORROR SHOW. I had the best time there. The really cute member of the swing sat on my foot (long story). Dick Cavett was the narrator and Daphne (from RENT) was Magenta. Cim made Janet crack up laughing when she called out "it was easy, but it would have been easier without the pantyhoes." Just so people know, you can dress up and yell stuff out. Sometimes the actors will react to what you yell. It's a really wonderful experiance. Anyone who can make it to NYC and see RHS should.
Thurs I took the train to Springfield. It was actually a very nice ride. I think that that is now going to be my perfered way of getting to the City (like during fall break and stuff).
Friday we ran Broadside's X-men game into the ground. oops.
I was also having issues with returning to school and stuff. could have been enhanced by PMS.
sat/sun was Game Bob. Had a good time, even though the PCs made lots of mistakes and some people were upset that we couldn't seem to kill anything.
mon - packed, moved back into my room (somewhat)
tues - ITS training. mostly boring. wrote good stories with Amythyst, Lil' J., and L.
Then Haven. I'll miss the place, but i'll see the people next week
wed- amherst class. It took me a while to find the building and the room. The class is really big for a greek class. I so don't remember any of my greek!!! But hopefully some of it will come back. The prof seems really nice. then back to smith for more its training. still boring, but learned some useful pointers.
I've started charging people a quarter to help them with their computer problems :)
At the All-Campus BBQ SSFFS sat together. as usual. we talked about the fact that the dudette won't be around. so BM is taking over the pres. but now there is no VP. said i would do it. no one else minded. We're going to talk more at the officer's meeting. R2 said that she would be the other college liason. saw R3. told her that there might be an opening for jobs at the USC.
For Convocation my house was dressing like Super Heros. All superheros need their villains, so i dressed at Catwoman. very black slinky clothing with a tail, a mask, and cat ears in my hat. Convocation was a blast! we screamed and yelled (we even got to yell "Ruth" once) and carried on. it was the best. screaming 0h-Two at the top of my lungs gave me such a good feeling. I'm very glad to be back at Smith. Everyone who spoke gave really good speaches, espically Connoly(sp!). I'll miss this next year.
After, Allegra and her friend showed up at my dorm and i taught them munchkin. Lil' J. showed up part way through it. We didn't finish the game b/c we all had classes, and Aerith wanted to talk to me.
Today I went to two classes
Child and Adolecent Growth and Development seems interesting. I'm not sure what taking it with Aerith will be like. Either really good or really bad. The teacher seems ok. A little dry though. but no major papers, only quizes and tests.
Comedy and Romance seems really cool. I love Greek plays!! The prof seems good, but he is so quiet that it's hard to hear him, and the accent makes it worse. I think it will be a really good class.
There are some cool looking people in my doom. There is one really quiet goth on my floor. I'll have to get her to open up. I'm trying.
Things that are lost: my cloak, my old dresser - i don't like this one. i want my old one back.
my room is mostly together. some clothing on the floor. have to figure out what to do with the milkcrates. I am missing my Athena plack. but my alter is set up, all of the "big" things are on the wall, so now i just have to put up the post cards. and organize my desk. Then I will really be ready to be here. i love the way my room is set up, i will have to thank Aerith again!!!
i think that's all i have to say. I have to do a lot of greek studying. Maybe i'll e-mail the prof and see about going to Amherst an hour early to work with her. I love greek plays soo much. I really want to understand greek and be able to know all the forms and silly thiings like that.

yesterday was grandpa's birthday. he turned 89. we made him a playboy bunny cake :) and had chinese food. it was fun. Little Joe is sooo cute sometimes, espcially his "I'm the boss" contest with Z-dude. I am glad that the whole family came in town. Little Joe and Cuz J and I went running around outside in the rain. I love the rain.
Z-dude left and went off to college. Cimmy is really sad. She's not going to get to see him for a while. Poor thing, but she's keeping busy packing and stuff. I think some friends just came over.
we went to the quarter with Cuz J today. She's awesome. I went into Esoterica to say hi to Mimi for Buffie. I feel glad that i did that, but the NRG in the store was really weird. Then we met up with aunt and uncle, cuz s and little joe at Virgin Megastore.
Cim and I caught the bus back. Hurray for the erract N.O. bus system!!
oh, saw Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Such a funny movie. But what really surprised me was the difference in styles of the people in New Orleans vs. those in the Valley. it was very strange.
Part of me wishes that I was in NoHo, b/c then i could have gone to the MeatFest and to Chickadee's sleep-over and to the "All-Important" vote at Haven. but i am glad to be home and i am excited about going to NYC and seeing rocky (hopefully).

corsets, family, and mary jane
Aug. 25th, 2001 09:08 amthursday my sis and I went to the mall. We drove WAY past the exit on the highway and had to turn around and go back down Vets. We finally made it to the mall. We had the best time wantering into all the stores at Lakeside that we have visited hundredes of times before. Express is selling thier long sleeve shirts again. Anyone in NoHo want to go to the mall with me so i can buy more of them sometime after I get back?
Then we went into Vicky Secs. There were these really beautiful corsets there and they came in all different colors. We started looking for smalls in the sky blue (for me) and the red (for cim). A sales lady came over to us and asked us if she could help us. We explained how we were looking for smalls, but it is so hard to find them. In the corse of taking to her, it came out that we were sisters (no shock there, we look like sisters!). Finally, I found a small in the blue but Cim couldn't find one in red. We went into the dressing room so she could help me into the corset. Then the sales lady started calling out for her "sisters". She had rememebered that they always put smalls on the manaquins and so got Cim a small. The two of us hooked eachother up and tightened the laces and so on. it was SOOO Victorian!!! We were laughing really hard. Then we showed the sales ladies how we looked. We looked good. I wish we had a camera. But, alas, the corsets were $78 each! We had to talk our way out of them pretty quickly. I think they are still on hold for us at the store. oops. i should call them about it. oh well.
Then I drove us to Linen and Things so Cim could get a shower tote. We must have spent half an hour there before she finally decided on the one that was the first one i pointed out to her. :)
Yesterday I got up late and cleaned up and stuff because the relatives were coming around 10pm. Mom went out to dinner w/her lady friends. I showed Cim Invader Zim which she had never seen. The episodes were ok, not the best ones i've seen.
Then Z-dude (as Cim's b/f will now be called) and Blue-Skunk (as my "brother" will now be called) showed up. Z-dude had just driven in from ULL. He and Cim disappeared into her room (no surprise there), but not before the discovery that they were both stoned. So, Blue-Skunk and I went out on the back porch and smoked up. hehehehe. Then Cim and Z-dude went out with friends and Blue-Skunk and I went out to Ninos's. I had never been out while stoned before. Very interesting experiance. We got home before 10. around 10 my aunt, uncle, cousins, and little 2nd cousin (who's three) showed up. Then after aunt and uncle left (they are staying at Grandpa's), mommy showed up. Cuz J, Blue-Skunk, and I went out on the porch and made Cuz S worry that Cuz J is going to get kicked out of the Peace Core before she even goes to Africa b/c of a non-existant random drug test. But we had fun. And then tried to watch Monty Python. Way too much for us sometimes *G* SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM! Well, Cuz S and little-dude are up, so i should get off of the computer and hang out with them.
Then we went into Vicky Secs. There were these really beautiful corsets there and they came in all different colors. We started looking for smalls in the sky blue (for me) and the red (for cim). A sales lady came over to us and asked us if she could help us. We explained how we were looking for smalls, but it is so hard to find them. In the corse of taking to her, it came out that we were sisters (no shock there, we look like sisters!). Finally, I found a small in the blue but Cim couldn't find one in red. We went into the dressing room so she could help me into the corset. Then the sales lady started calling out for her "sisters". She had rememebered that they always put smalls on the manaquins and so got Cim a small. The two of us hooked eachother up and tightened the laces and so on. it was SOOO Victorian!!! We were laughing really hard. Then we showed the sales ladies how we looked. We looked good. I wish we had a camera. But, alas, the corsets were $78 each! We had to talk our way out of them pretty quickly. I think they are still on hold for us at the store. oops. i should call them about it. oh well.
Then I drove us to Linen and Things so Cim could get a shower tote. We must have spent half an hour there before she finally decided on the one that was the first one i pointed out to her. :)
Yesterday I got up late and cleaned up and stuff because the relatives were coming around 10pm. Mom went out to dinner w/her lady friends. I showed Cim Invader Zim which she had never seen. The episodes were ok, not the best ones i've seen.
Then Z-dude (as Cim's b/f will now be called) and Blue-Skunk (as my "brother" will now be called) showed up. Z-dude had just driven in from ULL. He and Cim disappeared into her room (no surprise there), but not before the discovery that they were both stoned. So, Blue-Skunk and I went out on the back porch and smoked up. hehehehe. Then Cim and Z-dude went out with friends and Blue-Skunk and I went out to Ninos's. I had never been out while stoned before. Very interesting experiance. We got home before 10. around 10 my aunt, uncle, cousins, and little 2nd cousin (who's three) showed up. Then after aunt and uncle left (they are staying at Grandpa's), mommy showed up. Cuz J, Blue-Skunk, and I went out on the porch and made Cuz S worry that Cuz J is going to get kicked out of the Peace Core before she even goes to Africa b/c of a non-existant random drug test. But we had fun. And then tried to watch Monty Python. Way too much for us sometimes *G* SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM! Well, Cuz S and little-dude are up, so i should get off of the computer and hang out with them.

the flight was pretty cool. they had some of the rocky horror show playing on one of the "radio" stations.
I had dinner with dad and ada. then mom called at 10 and i came home. it's good to see her, but she looks so thin (well, thin for my mom). And her MG was really acting up so that she was having trouble talking. I ended up reading some of harry potter 2 to her. that was cool.
yesterday dad, ada and i went to pick up Cimmy from her b/fs new apartment at ULL. Nice place. Right on the edge of campus. The rooms are decent sized and well kept. Not as big as our place, but a good first apartment. I got to walk around the ULL campus. Dude, there is a SWAMP in the middle of the campus. It's really cool. There are gators and everything in it!!!! The campus itself was much nicer than i expected it to be, which was a pleasent surprise.
dad took us out to dinner, which was cool.
cimmy and i did a lot of talking on our way back. I told her about Venus5. I think she is interested to see it b/c she likes Sailor Moon too (actually, she was the one who got me watching it).
Then got home and found out the cousins and aunt and uncle are going to be coming in on friday. of course mom is freeked out about how bad the house looks. bfd. we'll get it cleaned. well, i will clean and cim will get pissed that i am cleaning and being the "good girl" and shit. Well, i think that if i just say yes and do what mom asks, it's just so much easier than being negitive and getting into a fight.
damn, my bagel is cold and perkigoth keeps cutting out.
I had some dreams that i really wanted to recored in here, but i can't remember them. The only one that i remember was this one from friday where we were doing this haunted house, but it wasn't haunted, it was more of a dungeon/improve/Munchkin thing with some of Light up the sky thrown in. It was very strange. the other two dreams esacpe me now.
when i mentioned to my mom about the whole bat thing at the theatre, mom said that one time in school someone came to talk to us about bats and i was the only one interested and kept asking questions. I don't remember this, but it makes me wonder about my bat afinity. I should research bats and figure out what it means and how they connect to me.
have to go to the Mall with Cim now.
