atheneYesterday my brandy new lappytop came in. Her name is Eva and she's a 15" MacBook Pro with a 500GB harddrive and the super awesomely fast processor chip. Considering that Elektra had only 100GB of space and a pre-Intel processor...yeah, it was time for an upgrade.
Yesterday when I got Eva, I went to set her up, but I missed the right time to transfer all of my info easily and then I tried to transfer it and it just didn't work right, so I wiped Eva, reinstalled from the disks and then set up the transfer. Cause that happened so late last night, I really didn't get a chance to play with her then. However, almost everything transferred over perfectly and the few things that didn't were really easy to fix (except for my anti-virus, which I got when I was a student and so I think it's finally time to suck it up and buy a copy).
So far Eva is awesome. The only problem is that she has one of those new-fangled firewire ports, and Steve (my external harddrive) has the old style ones, but I can also use Steve via USB, so it's not a huge deal.
Ok, off to try out WoW on my new baby.
