I remember holding you in my arms on the night of September 28, 1979 and just talking to you and never wanting to let you go. I remember going to Hills Department store when you were four and you running to the back to grab some books to look at, completely bypassing the toy section. I remember our time in Paris and the way we would work out what to do each day. I remember eating croissants in the room with all the David's at the Louvre and the guards telling us not too. I remember the time you were so sick and we didn't know what you had. I remember you all bundled up playing in the snow in Ithaca. I remember you were Dorothy for years and you wore Dorothy dresses and green glasses fabricated from green construction paper as we walked up College Avenue. I remember you wearing Ithaca clothing to school in New Orleans and people not understanding. You were especially fond of the skirt grandma Selma made you. Gosh this is only the beginning of a long list, but it is what comes to mind quickly.
