March events and stuff

atheneHere are some events peoples wanted to know about in March.
March 6 - WATCHMEN!!! We have tickets for the Alamo Village's 7pm showing. Buy your tickets now before they sell out: http://www.originalalamo.com/Show.aspx?id=6181
March 14 - Rocky Horror Picture Show, midnight, Alamo Village. We're trying to get a large group together to join us. You should be part of it. Spend two hours yelling obscenities at a movie screen.
March 15 - Jonathan Coulton performs with Paul & Storm at Antone's. To buy tickets: http://www.tinyurl.com/ama6l7
If you don't know who Jonathan Coulton is (you probably haven't been reading my LJ for very long) you should go to his website (http://tinyurl.com/6chuof) and listen to some of his songs. I recommend "Code Monkey", "Re:Your Brains", "First of May", "Skullcrusher Mountain", and "Creepy Doll" to start. I also really like "Better" and "Mandelbrot Set".
Paul & Storm were part of Da Vinci's Notebook. You can listen to their stuff on their website too (http://tinyurl.com/2b6bun), but they're better live. Still, "Opening Band" and "The Captain's Wife's Lament" are worth listening to recorded.
SXSW is in mid-March. If you're a fan of Amanda Palmer or the Dresden Dolls and have $$, she's playing SXSW. If you have lots of $$ and don't know what to do with it, you could buy me a pass so I can see her too. :)
Also March 5, 12, and 26 Alamo Ritz is doing a Monty Python and the Holy Grail Quote-A-Long. I'd like to go to one of these.
And Fanboys is now playing at Alamo South Lamar. If you're a Star Wars fan, you NEED to see this movie.
Apparently I know way too much about nerdy happenings in this city.
