Bathroom update

We left the blower going all night. This morning the carpet was not nearly as wet as it was last night, which is good. However, there is a distinct smell of cat urine coming from the bathroom, which is bad. Aerith made breakfast this morning so at least the smell of bacon is in the air.

Ms. J from upstairs came down to check on the damage down here. Turns out she didn't call maintenance. She also didn't even think about the fact that the water could have run into our apartment. I think she felt guilty about that though because she showed up a little while ago with a gift card to Bed, Bath, and Beyond for us.

will the gift card replace the carpet that was soiled by water & cat?

It's a nice thought, but she should have been more on top of it and called maintenance.
