Thank goddess for ceiling fans

Last night the A/C stopped working. It'll turn on, but the fan won't come on, and then it turns off. I was hoping it would fix itself by this morning...but it didn't listen to me. So I have a call into the maintenance people. I hope they show up soon, before it starts to really get hot out.

Edit: Repairman is here. Hurray.

Edit2: Apparently it's a bad motor. They're going to "build a new one" and come back with it. The second guy said that it was from the old people who owned this place and they throught they had changed them all out, but I guess they missed a few.

Edit3: 1 new motor, 1 new wire box (apparently the wire box was telling the motor to turn on even though it was burnt out), and 1 new filter later and my house is much cooler. I believe the cats are much happier for it.

the condenser froze over, ice blocked the air flow, this pops the cutout to try and save the compressor

my guess is the drain line got clogges on bugs or spooge or something

Question: Are you TAing the summer "managing digital libraries" class? I need to sign up for a summer class and there is NOTHING I want to take. I have no clue what this class is going to be like.
