why don't papers write themselves?

atheneI'm a just under half way done with this paper that's due on Tuesday. It's an analysis of another research paper. I'm currently just trying to answer all the questions that the prof posed and then after that's done I'll make it more coherent and paper-like. Of course i had tons of time to try to get this done...but somehow it all disappeared...
Of course right now I'm just brain-dead and i have to work until 4 tomorrow. At least there's no class tomorrow so I'll have all of tomorrow to work on it...well, except for when I read the other stuff that's due.
But right now I think i'm going to take a break from the paper, read a chapter of the text book and take the quiz on it then go to bed.
