...was the village of the Trids at the base of a tall mountain upon which lived a giant ogre. Every so often the ogre would come down from his peak to abuse the Trids, kicking them with his big ol' ogre boots. One day the local rabbi, a good and kindly man, gathered all the Trids of the village together and offered up himself as a substitute to the ogre when next he came to wreak his havoc. When the ogre showed up, the rabbi stepped forward to make his sacrifice, saying to him, 'Ogre sir i offer myself to you so that you may leave the Trids alone.' The ogre smiled a wicked smile at him and replied, 'Silly rabbi, kicks are for Trids!' And then ate him.
