Firefly Icons

Upon seeing the firefly trailer I was inspired to make some Firefly icons. Each one has an animated and a non-animated version. In the animated version, the "serenity logo" icon was made by rasputinaxp

So yeah, is Book even going to BE in the movie? I saw one shot in the gallery with him. What's up with that? And there were hardly any of Inara! She's my fave!! And Kailey!! Okay, heh.. getting excited/worried too soon, eh?

he's on the imdb listings as being in the movie. i think the trailer was just very focused on the river plot.

Yes I did realize that. I think I read some where that one of the cast wasn't going to be much part of the movie. Was wishing it wasn't Book, I'm very interested in finding out more on his character!

The movie is tying up (or at least explainging) the River/blue hands storyline, so obviously River and Simon have bigger relative roles in the movie/trailer, and Kaylee, Book, and Inara less so. (Mal and Zoe are pretty necessary in any case, and Wash and Jayne are too funny not to use). But it's been confirmed that all nine cast members are in the movie, even if not as much as we'd like.

They're hoping that if the movie does well, it will get picked back up as a series, either by SciFi or a major network, which is really what Joss wanted all along.

I've also heard rumors that he may try to make a trilogy of Firefly movies.

That's his backup plan (I've heard).

He's stated that he likes TV better than movies because he likes being able to tell big, overarching stories that take much longer than two hours to tell, while also throwing short little stories to keep you entertained in there. And he doesn't like waiting 2-4 years between each story.

I heard that too. I think at the time I heard it the impression I got was that it was Inara due to her having taken off there right towards the end of the show. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in the comic book.

Hmmm...I need a good fanboy icon.
