Ok, based on some feedback and getting some responces for prices, here is round 2 in the photographer look.

• Mandy Gibavic - doesn't have a website but was the photographer at the wedding we went to the other weekend. She was fun and seemed good. Her rate is by the hour. (the link goes to the shots of the wedding we were at that she photographed)

as for the possiblity of hiring a friend as a photographer i'm worried that they may be a)too intrusive with the guests or b) acting like a/hanging out with the guests and not a professional photographer.

Hrmm...I have a friend who is a pro photographer out of Westfield. As far as I know reasonably priced. Graduate of Hallmark School of Photography. Works with me at Hilton Photography as our senior portraits photographer, but has a wedding/seniors/special occasions business on the side. Very professional, digital and film, young and creative.

The 3 I am most impressed by are x-pressions, Eric Limon and Storm Photographic. Of course what I look for in a photographer and what you look for may be different but there are my .02 concerning the listed photographers.
