Where did we leave off?
Apr. 12th, 2004 10:18 amOh, yes. Wed was pretty uneventful.
Thursday I left work
lordaerith and
msfrizz picked me up from work early to go to Toyota of Greenfield and finish the purches of our new 2002 V6 silver Camry, now named Baby, and the trade in of poor old Audrey.
Friday
queencimmy and Pirate Wench showed up for the weekend.
Saturday was preparing for sader and a bit of running around and some hanging out.
Sader was very good. 4 glasses of wine. hehehe. things definatly got a bit silly. I love having a progressive, out there, weird sader. We had an orange on the sader plate and a cup for Miram (which I later libated). The food was so good, even if mom slightly burnt the brisket.
After sader, The Frenchman, Pirate Wench,
queencimmy, and I went to the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Tower Theatres. I never realize how much I miss RHPS until I see it again. The audience was really small and the cast had 4 alternates in it (due to the holiday weekend), but it was so good. It really reminded me of my New Orleans RHPS experiances where the cast wasn't perfect and the props weren't all there, but the heart that was put in to the show made it better than some of the well-rehearsed casts who are just going through the motions. Also since they were down in cast, Cimmy ended up doing Tricksy. I ran up there as the "camera man" behind the car and skinned my knee just a little on the stage. Not my first RHPS related injury by any means. I also went up for the dealing out of the cards. I wanted to catch Riff's liquor, but I didn't get out of my seat in time. There's something so wonderful about RHPS. I just love the energy that is generated there, espcially when people from different areas are in one theatre exchanging lines.
Sunday cimmy and pirate wench left and then we drove mom to the airport. It was so nice having her around. i miss my mommy. but it was nice to have the house back to just Aerith and I. We cleaned up some more, did a bit of laundrey and watched Trading Spaces Home Free. I really hope the light blue team makes it to the finals. Everyone should go to http://www.tlc.com and vote for them.
Today Octavia Bulter is talking at Smith at 4pm. I really want to go, but tomorrow Aerith and I are looking at Look Park and Wed I want to visit my seamstress friend so I need to work late today *pout*. Oh well. I guess that comes with living in the "real world". Priorities. and comprimise. So no Bulter for me due to wedding stuff. Talking about "real world" I better get back to work.
