I got my rejection letter from UMass today. Not really a surprise. Actually, I'm kind of glad I didn't get in b/c I think i'd much rather go for a Master's in Library and Information Science. It combines old things with computers, how me is that! So now i'm just looking into programs.

Had lots of people over last night (6 monthaversary of engagement) for the movies. Even guardian_lm (whom Aerith and I know from Puzzle Pirates) came (I hope we didn't scare him too badly). Wow, Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter was a bad movie! But so good. *giggles* Then the ladies (Safire, ~l, Kiten, and I) went and had some girl talk while the boys watched some Dr Who parody. Then we all watched a "Real Sex" HBO special and finally capped off the night with Six String Samurai.

Today was just chilling and cleaning up from last night.

Tomorrow is back to work. ugh. I need to update my resume

wow, that's what i want to get a master's in too! fancy that.

simmons college has a library masters program that has classes at mount holyoke. if you don't do a specialization, you can get your entire degree with classes at the mount holyoke campus.

Best thing about UTexas-Austin: (aside from the HUGE library)
Free transport on nearly all Austin Metro busses.
$1 for long-distance bus rides that would normally be $2.
I commuted on Greyhound-style busses for most of my college days.
