  • Clean and dust all downstairs serfaces in the living room area
  • Eat Lunch
  • Vacuum all of downstairs
  • Vacuum stairs
  • Clean up bedroom, dust it
  • Vacuum bedroom floor
  • Sort all papers in study. Try to find more of study's floor
  • Vacuum study (if possible)
  • Go to deposit unemployment check
  • Get stuff from Hardwear store
  • Pick up Aerith at work and head down to CostCo to get stuff for party (any who want to come will should let me know and be avalible by 4:15).

getting the venue prolly should be done rather far in advance.. seeing as how the really popular places are booked 5 or more years ahead of time... (a little excessive, if you ask me).. and it is nice to know what the place looks like in the time of year you wish to be there...
as for telling your family "screw you"... if they're helping to pay, *bad* idea. and, considering most of us can't pull off an elaborate (or even semi-elaborate) wedding without a bit of financial help... pissing off where those dollars are coming from isn't the brightest.
altho, it'd be *really* nice to have a wedding for the couple, instead of the couple's parents... *grin*

Speaking of Venue.. Have you looked into Hellen Hills Hills Chapel Chapel Chapel?

Saying 'screw you' depends on how you do it. Over the years I've learned how to shift things so that people in my family at least make sure to do the 'polite' thing. My favorite was my sister and grandmother fighting. My sister's "the old bitch will say..." got replaced with "Nana, my sister was worried that she was going to do something wrong.." "Oh, honey, you shouldn't worry about that.. just do your best.." etc. They call me sneaky, I call it smoothing things over.

One last random piece of advice. LEARN the Traditions. Doesn't mean you have to use them, but its much easier overall to disregard something if you know what the tradition is and how it got started so you have amunition for informing people why you're not going to be following that tradition.
