I'm engaged!

atheneOMG! JONATHAN PROPOSED!!!!!!!!!
And I said yes, of course. It's so amazing. I was totally surprised. I had no clue it was coming. I mean, I knew it was coming one day, espically after we got sort of handfasted on Beltane, but I totally didn't know it was happening today.
We were at the NY Ren Faire and there's this bridge called the Kissing Bridge. We decided that it would be good to take pictures there. So we stand on the bridge and then Jonathan gets this mischievious look on his face and clears his throat in the way that I know something big is coming. He said, "My lady Allison, whilst thou may not be of noble birth, as thy family name implies, thou art more dear to me than anything else, and the love we share is a most noble thing." Then he dropped down onto one knee and said, "By that love, and this ring that symbolized the love of thy parents, wouldst thou consent to be my wife and personal queen?" I think I squealled a bunch and then said, "Yes!"
I'm so happy, I still can't believe it. Pictures of the whole thing and the ring (which was my mother's) to follow.
