I just found out that the pulled down the twig castle. How could they??? It's such a beautiful piece. I wish they had notified the community or something. HUMPH!!
...but it was never intended to be permanent. It was only intended to contribute to having an art presence on campus during the museum's renovations. Still, a pity- it was fun to watch the kids play in/around it, especially when the morning glories were in bloom.
apparently they emailed smith staff... i found out thru the library. *pouts* sad sad sad. want it back. grr. i don't know what smith will be like without it.. its been here longer than i have... they were building it when i came to visit as a prospective student. man. losing lots more seniors and my 'home' on campus. *is worried about next year*
