no wonder...

No wonder we have such a distorted perception of what is beautiful...

1. Go to http://www.iwanexstudio.com/.
2. Click on portfolio.
3. Pick a celebrity picture from the thumbnails.
4. Mouse over to see what the the photo looked like when it was taken. Mouse out to see what the final photoshoped version (that was printed in a magazine) looked like.
5. Click on the picture to make it go away & pick another one.
6. Repeat until fully disgusted with print media and how it distorts our perceptions.

i agree with everybody else above. i also found it interesting that they smoothed out the lines of women who were too muscular. they also really changed the facial lines of one of the guys to make him look boyish when i think he looked better as a more mature face in the original. and everybody's facial contours and cheekbones were filled in or softened. the weirdest thing was the skewed hips or breasts. if somebody really tried to stand like that, they'd dislocate something...
