from bad to worse

My co-worker just came into the Lab to start his shift. He looked a little woozy to me so I told him to go lie down on the couch. Oh goddess, what if he's been bitten??

Okay, I feel better. I got him to move from the couch to the floor of the back room. He was somewhat unresponsive...but at least he moved mostly on his own as he's a big guy and if what I think is happening to him is happening then I have no idea what I'm going to do. At least I have the door locked and barred from the outside.

I can't get lordaerith on the phone. The lines are all jammed. But he left me a message to my last post so I know that he's okay for now. I'm not sure about the rest of my family, but I know that walkingundine and blueraccoon are safe for now.

How am I the only person in Texas without guns?

I think I'm going to close the door to the lab now. It doesn't look like there's anyone coming in today anyway.
