Am currently writing this post from my laptop while at lunch. I can't get on the internet here, even though I can see that there is a wireless network. grrrrr.

Anyway, the past week or so has been pretty good. [livejournal.com profile] artemis42 is going to be moving into our spare bedroom temporally, so [livejournal.com profile] lordaerith and I have been working on re-arranging the bedroom and this week we have to clean up the study to get it ready for her.

Had a good V-day. Made dinner for Aerith and myself. It turned out really well.

Finished Sebastain by Anne Bishop. I have a lot to say about it, but that's a separate post.

Over the weekend I visited the Mad Russian at RPI. We went dress shopping. Saw lots of dresses that were really ugly, but some that were nice. While in Filenes I tried on a coat that was origionally over $14,000, but was on sale for just over $5,000. It was leather on one side and mink on the other and looked amazing on me. Due to the sale the Mad Russian found a dress that was over $100 off, so I made her buy it :) Saturday night we watched Gilliam's The Brother's Grimm. I really liked it because of the way that it wove the fairy tales together and it was so very Gilliam.

[livejournal.com profile] wabres and [livejournal.com profile] godspiel are evil and got [livejournal.com profile] lordaerith hooked on City of Heros. He plays on Justice. I made a character too (named Lyrra). The controls of the game confuse me somewhat, so I'm not sure how often I'll be playing (also, as there is on CoH for the Mac yet, I have to borrow aerith's.
