I win. I so totally win!

See, we have this new reporting system at work. I run reports every week to find out some stuff that happened in the previous week. Now in the old system I would have to go into the report every week and change the dates to the new previous week (for example, this week I had to change them from Aug 7 - 13 to Aug 14-20). But in the new system we were told that there was a way to set up reports so that it would automatically give you data from the past week/month no matter what week/month you were in. No more going in and changing the specific dates. I was trying to figure out how to do that in the new system, but I just couldn't get it to work. I was able to figure out how to do the putting in the exact date range, knowing that i'd just have to change it every week. But I got it. It took me a bit of time, but I figured it out. My problem was that the model I was looking at was checking for dates in the NEXT week and not the PREVIOUS one. A few additions of a minus sign here and there and changing some numbers around and PRESTO! I got it working. I even understand the logic behind the functions I wrote.

So...I win.

Now to tackle whole previous months. Somehow I think it will be easier.
