Weekend of Fantasy
Jul. 18th, 2005 12:44 pmFriday night I dressed up in my witch hat and cloak and went to the Harry Potter party at
spacecrime.
Saturday
lordaerith,
artemis42 and I went to the VT Ren Fest. It was better than last year. They used the grounds in a more spread out manner. I really liked the few acts that I saw and there were decent venders. There was also this guy with an arrow maze. I spent about ten minutes staring at it and then got on the board and did it in 16 steps (the minimum needed to solve it). Got a bit burned on the backs of my shoulders.
Afterwards went to the Co-op to get food and stuff.
Then went home and read Harry Potter, made dinner, and read more (aerith was playing FFX).
Sunday morning got up and finished Harry Potter. Overall I liked it. still in a bit of shock over some things.
Afterwards I went down to Costco to pick up the pictures from the disposable cameras that were on the reception tables at the wedding. Got caught in a downpour. Hurray for learning how to drive in new orleans.
Went out to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Artemis, Omnia, and Wandel. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. I need to re-read the book.
Came home and read more Matilda to aerith and artemis before crashing.
Am now at work where the A/C is out. I'm not finding it that bad. It's like home *grin*.
