atheneThis is my last day of work here.
They had a good-bye party for those of us that are leaving today (there are 4) and they'll be pizza for lunch.
I worked late this week so i can leave early today. I've already started to do some clean up of stuff on my computer.
And I dressed up for Halloween. I'm the only one who did, but I don't care. I'll pulled out the fangs, which is always fun. I feel like a Toreador/Daeva of the Circle of the Crone. Funny because tonight I'm going to be playing my vampire character who is neither of these things.
On the one hand, i'm kind of glad that the job is over. It had a way of sucking my soul in little pieces. Mostly I think it's because the work that i did here wasn't very challenging for me. I did get to meet some interesting people (although a chunk of them have already moved on). And I got to learn something about the medical insurance industry and i know that will help me in the rest of my life.
On the other hand, it sucks that i'll be unemployed again. *sigh* At least I'll have time to do stuff like study for the MTELs; volunteer at the library; apply for grad school; work on my wedding; work on my wedding website and my cats website; and do all sorts of projects that i've started or want to start that i haven't had time for.
