hmmm...

well, I just took a GRE practice test on the computer. According to the test I got a 570 Verbal and a 560 Quantitative and I think my esays came out pretty well. From this I learned that I need to know more words (which is hard for me), to trust my instincts (but I knew that one already), and to work faster when doing math since I didn't finish the section (right..., I hate that no calculator thing). But I feel confident. I think that i'll sign up to take the GREs soon. But I'll give myself a little bit of time to study (and maybe take another practice test).

yeah taking the practice tests helped me too when i was preparing. the review materials on the website can help but they're a bit dry. you might want to try getting a copy of "cracking the GRE"- rather than cramming info, it's more about test-taking strategies to help you make the most of your time. the combination of the "official" GRE review materials and the tips from "cracking" really made it a lot easier for me.
