The icon says it all!
OMG!!! I got a job!!! I am going to be the Information Analyst in the Center for American History's Digital Media Services Unit (the job posting). I start Sept. 2.
I'm so excited. It's so exactly what I want to be doing. And I get to work in an archive. And it's on campus. And I haven't stopped bouncing since I found out (except for a little while while the vet was here - in other good news, Boris is down to 13 lbs). And I'm really really excited about it. And they're even starting me at a higher amount that what was offered in the job posting!

my brother's getting married in november '09, and i'm pretty sure i want to move back to the states before then. austin is my first choice where, but it will depend on job opportunities, etc.
my current contract is signed until june '08, so barring disaster, I won't be home before then.
