Bribe the DJ

Hey, our DJ told us about this great idea called "Bribe the DJ". You put any songs that you don't like (i.e. YMCA, the Chicken Dance, etc.) on the bribe the DJ list. If anyone wants those songs, they have to pay for it. The bride and groom set the price (the worse the song, the higher the cost!) and the DJ and couple split the fund 50-50 at the end.

Just a thought.... :)

I went to a bar that did that and there was a bidding war at the piano -- one party was paying to hear a song, and the other party was paying him NOT to play it.

No prob. It was just a suggestion.

If it's that cut and dried then, there shouldn't be any problem. If you don't like a song, put it on a list and give it to your DJ. Start the list and add to it as you think of them. Simple.
