So, I'm a huge dork. I carved my pumpkin like a greek vase.



First one to guess what it is gets the prize of knowing that you're just as big of a dork as I am.

So you know, I'm not artistic enough to do that by myself. I printed out the picture of the vase I wanted to use, duct taped it to the pumpkin and then used a knife to cut small lines around the outline of the figured. Of course the vase is way more complicated than I could get on the pumpkin and some pieces fell out that should have stayed, but overall I think I did a good job.

right, so...

Friday was wonderful! Got to see the frenchman and drag him to game. Game was really great! I won't bore you with details of that. If you want to know and can't see the post about it from yesterday, drop me a line and i'll add you to the filter.

Saturday was a day of doing laundry and running errands and carving a pumpkin while aerith played Kingdom Hearts.

Sunday was Halloween. It was full of waking up late, hanging out, having safirerings, wabres, and stickum come over. Safire and I dressed up like Trawlany and McGonagal, respectivly. We has some kids come to the door, but not nearly as many as last year. I think the best was when I was making patsa in my witches hat and cloak and in the middle of it some kids came to the door. I overheard them (or the mother...) say something about knowing my house was a good one to come to b/c they could see that I had a potion brewing on the stove. :) After there were no more kiddies, we watched 2 eps of Firefly (Our Mrs. Renalds and Janyestown) and then played this spooky haunted house game that Stickum brought. Safire became the big nasty earthworm and won. It was kind of creapy and i think that i dreamed about it.

After they left, I did a small ritual for Samhain. Then Aerith and I tried to name all the people we knew of who had passed away in the previous year. May they all find their way to wherever they are going.

Which brings us to today and my unemployment... the unemployment brings us to a list b/c it helps me remember what i need to do for the day.

• renew overdue library books -shit, should have done this saturday. there's a hold on one of them so i have to return it! damn it. must find another geometry book.
  
• e-mail possible wedding officants
  
• apply for jobs - there's so nothing out there. *sigh* well, i sent my resume into one place. and concidering how i just got really depressed about everything...that's the only one i'm sending in today! (but the temp agency called a bit ago...there are two things that may or may not come through)
  
• Eat lunch
  
• get in touch with mortis
  
• drop off mortage check at bank
  
• drop off library book that's overdue and i can't renew.
  
• study for the Math MTELs
  
• call library lady about meeting - actually met with her. went over voluneer options. there are two that sound really good!
  
• Finish moving over cell phone book.
  
• Clean bathroom
  
• Clean kitchen
  
• verify some Cingular stuff
  
• Pagan potluck
